The problem with the originals was the bromine fire-retardant. I'm not sure if that still gets used in new plastic or not. Additionally, I think having alternate front plates for people who don't want to use a 3.5in drive would be neat. For example, a front plate that is a solid cover with no disk opening, or one with holes for DIN connectors.Norah Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04261941393637635603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4017745189504803687.post-81426000219340124692020-01-28T00:14:06.737+10:302020-01-28T00:14:06.737+10:30Creating a computer with a limited amount of memor...Creating a computer with a limited amount of memory (today 128MB of ram are extremely cheap) is a mistake: getting these computers out of the factory with less than 128MB is a huge tactical and strategic mistake

In this manner we'll be able to write code that will run on all systems without the need of further expansion : today 128MB of ram costs less than 2 (two) dollars !!!

I think it is reasonable to configure the computer with the maximum ram conveniently addressable by the CPU, from the beginning, and that the system should hosts a single sodimm socket with a 128MB ram module; this module must be easily accessible without dismantling the case, through a small panel, as it's normally done with laptopsHesedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17735633915940198857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4017745189504803687.post-61636869833881636272020-01-27T07:08:03.724+10:302020-01-27T07:08:03.724+10:30Congrats!
